Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

cronfeed.work is a reader-first publication. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us.

What we collect

How we use information

Cookies and local storage

cronfeed.work uses a first-party __Host-cf_session cookie solely to authenticate and protect reader accounts. It is Secure, HTTP-only, and SameSite=Lax. By default, it keeps a reader signed in for 30 days after their latest visit and expires no later than 90 days after authentication; signing out revokes the session immediately. Browser storage may hold a non-secret signed-in hint plus language, theme, read-state, topic-filter, and related preferences; it does not hold the first-party session credential. During the migration window, Auth0 may also use browser storage or cookies when you choose the previous sign-in method. Third-party providers may use similar technologies for analytics, fraud prevention, or advertising.

Third-party services

We may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, CDN/security, and advertising services. Those providers may process data according to their own privacy terms.

Current categories include:

Advertising

If ads appear on cronfeed.work, advertising partners may use request data, cookies, or similar identifiers to serve, limit, or measure ads. We do not sell full reader account histories as standalone datasets, but third-party ad and measurement providers may process data needed to operate their services.

Data retention

We keep data for as long as reasonably necessary to run the site, maintain accounts, protect the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by data type.
